Dr. Cory Waxman grew up in Bergen County, earned a BS in biochemistry from Northwestern University, and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. Before opening his own practice in Montclair, he spent more than a decade treating pets across Northern New Jersey. During his training he interned at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston and worked on reproductive research for endangered canine and feline species.
Dr. Waxman works alongside veterinary technician Jim Montanye, who brings decades of hands-on experience caring for animals. Together with our front desk and support staff, they keep visits calm and organized for pets and their people. You can meet our full team before your first visit.
